Getting GBA cart saves onto EZ 3-in-1

I want to transfer my genuine GBA saves to my PC so I can use them with my new EZ3-in-1. I'm sure I saw a slot-1 app that could do this, but I can't find it now.

Found an application called 'eepinator' that extracted the save from my carts just fine. Trouble is, they're 64k saves and while I can use them in VBA, they're no use to the EZ-3-in-1. Is there any way to convert the saves to a usable format?

I think that EZ 3-in-1 expansion uses 128 kb saves for your game.
If it does, then you need to open VBA, goto options tab > emulator > save type > automatic | flash 128k
That should make the GBA game save in 128 k format, and then it should work in your EZ 3-in-1.

Regardless of how you set the options in VBA, it ALWAYS exports battery files at 64kb. Also I'm pretty sure the 3-in-1 uses 128k SRAM (not flash!)

Did you try switching the save size while the game was running and prior to saving?
Also, the flash 128 k option just sets the save size to 128 k, but the automatic part automatically detects
save type.

Yes, I tried that. None of the options in VBA seem to affect the size of the output battery file.

EDIT:

I'm such a noob. Copying 64k .sav files to the 3-in-1 works fine as long as you aren't modifying the save for the last game you loaded. Basically my imported file was being over-written by the blank save in the SRAM.

Freakin' obvious, I've known you had to do this on DSLink etc. for a long time, why oh why didn't I think of doing it on the 3-in-1?!?

Case closed, and I'm a happy man :) Now I can continue playing FF6 without any sticky-outy bits :P

Wait, hold up, EEPINATOR can handle GBA saves?  I was not aware of this, and have been telling people that the only way to manage save files is with the GBA program "cart_save" by Chishm.  If EEPINATOR can handle them, I can modify my advice in the future.
