I just got my new ez flash III cart and its not being recognized by the computer. I downloaded the software pack at jandaman where i ordered it, and told my comp that that was where the drivers were but its still not recognizing it. Can anyone help me?

use my ezwriter.inf file attached here instead of the one in that comes with the installation download, unzip and copy and paste the attached ezwriter.inf file from the unpacked zipfile into the installation folder and overwrite the one thats in there

then try installing again 


note the latest manager is ezmanger 2.22

Thanks man, worked perfectly fine! how do i know if its done charging or just charging? right now the LED is green.

8 hrs is recommended before first use 

led remains green until you start writing games to it

I recommend when writing games to the cart (u can do this whilst charging) using the settings of INSTANT SAVE and COMPRESSION  to get more games on and be able to save at anypoint when you turn off the ds/gba and back on it auto saves using these settings

compression packs the games down to fit more on but takes a few seconds longer to decompress

dont forget to FORMAT the card first and then write the EZ3 loader or it will not work when you try using it

any more questions just ask .... I have 2 ezIII cards a 1gb and a 2gb

normal .. when the manager access the cart its RED its active .. when its not in use/not active its GREEN or standby

like what i meant from switching it does it for about a millisecond in between so like green red green red green red green red green red green red green red and so on until i close out of the manager application

yes thats normal its standby mode with cart inserted

but the program doesn't allow me to do anything. It switches from showing me options to a gray box, i can't add roms or do anything with my new cart

does it allow you to format it ?

it should of charged fully by now so maby take it out and put it back in again see if you can format it

well, i don't think it charged lol. I just put in my ds today and all it came up with was a black screen. I also contacted Jandaman for help seeing as it was there where i bought my cart. Is there like a guide on using it like a guide to the supercard?

have u written the ez3 loader to the card ?


what version is it 1gb 2gb ?

are you using the 2.22 manager ?


did you use the EZ MODE APPLICATION in the ezmanager folder to switch to EZ 3 when you have got the writer + card connected ??

heres an ezflash manual it shows you how to use both ezclient and ezmanager

2b yes and yes...i called jandaman today and they're gonna replace it...so hopefully i just got a defect...

did you try the ezmode application?

thats in the ezmanager folder ?


it needs to be set to EZ3

double click it and choose EZ 3

also have you tried a different USB port ?

when you first insert the cart you need to format the cart insert the cart and click FORMAT and for the 2gb u need to choose 512mbit (this is the 2gb card size) format it then use system settings and write the ez 3 loader then try loading games 

If not try the online update then try writing the loader again

i can't click format because the program doesn't find the cart... i have tried a diff usb port, i have tried the ez mode app the guy at jandaman walked me through it and nothing seemed to work, i did try the online update and nothing seemed to work...
