this will be needed if the dsone has this probelm then if the supercard team sees its a lot of people then there probadly be a fix              my dsone does that with my minisd trying to boot a gba game/file :'(

yes, mine does that. but I've only seen it a couple times because I don't use Supercard for GBA. Was just testing and saw the 'garbage' border for several gba games ... but it didn't use to happen before I started using SCDS1 as passme. Never tried taking the SCDS1 out and just using the SCLite in GBA mode, but don't really care either because when I want to play GBA I use an EFA-Linker in GBA-SP2.

Mine also does that sometimes. But only when I boot to Slot2 from my SCDS1 menu. If I boot directly to Slot2, I dont have that problem. My ds is flashed.

are talking about the boot to slot 2 hotkey L+B?

i just boots superkey.nds in the shell folder

you can replace it with a passme rom or the easily available MK5_passme which i think is available at the neoflash website.

one of these will probably solve the problem

I don't have a SCDS, but this did happen on my SCSD from time to time. It had a tendency to happen more if I had just played a DS game then cart-reset and loaded a GBA game. I think the carts aren't clearing all of the necessary RAM and when the DS goes to display the GBA screen whatever random data was left behind from whatever was running before gets displayed as graphics on the screen. If someone could write a program to wipe the DS's memory(and perhaps the Supercard's memory) before a game is run that might do it.

I just tolerated with it myself. There's no game there anyway. :)
