Ah, so my DS just finished charging. The R4 works fine, but the lower screen is of a yellow tint. I know thats a problem with some of the newer DS's, so I might just go back, and ask for a replacement of my replacement.

I would expect a brand new one working fine. I know it's a hardware problem, so surely, they will just give me a different one.

i forgot to mention - people say if nintendo gives you a replacement, that unit comes with a 12 month warranty, whereas the vendor may not give you that. it's worth reading up on that.
