Guess so. I like having a spring. Mine has been nothing but perfect(it will probably screw up now since I typed that). I really wish TeamCyclops would have put a spring in the Evo's microsd slot. I hate taking the cart out to access the microsd. That's a really nice feature on the R4 and DSOne.

I've had mine from the first day of release and still working perfect.

BTW   some of the latest batch of the R4 has a new micro sd slot which ejects the micro sd card out very slowly

I agree with that completely, but TC has a good reason to avoid springs, but they are so much easier to use.  It is the only thing I like from the R4 more than the CycloDS at the moment.

Yeah, that's the only thing I think the R4 has over the Evo. It's a small feature, but it's nice to have. But I don't blame TeamCyclops for not putting in a spring.

I like the SCDS's SD slot.
It easy to use and looks nearly same original cart.

Yeah, it's pretty nice. It seems sturdier than the R4's too. I don't have any fears of the SCDS1's spring breaking.

Should be in store in 1 week.
