I finally found it today and purchased it. I don't have any PS3 games so I figured this would be a good start.

Great game! Bitblt is right on, this game looks amazing and the combat is fun yet it is repetitive after awhile, though seeing the chic kick everyone in the balls does not get old,lol.

Glad you like it! Maybe you should do the full review? I stopped by Frys yesterday and they were sold out of Heavenly Sword.  My wife went to rent movies from Blockbuster a little while ago and I asked her to look for it. I'll probably stop by Fry's again later this week.  That is unless you want to swap for Resistance after you beat the game DeVS? Let me know.

My wife rented the game for me so I could check it out. I just got done playing the first chapter of Heavenly Sword this evening and I must say I'm impressed. The game simply looks stunning on my HD screen. The in-game cinematics and theatrical stroyline are beyond anything I've seen in a game before. It's like taking part interactively inside an epic movie. So far I've guided Nariko through several battles and mastered new power combos. I've tried my hand at shooting arrows for Kai using the SIXAXIS motion control. I've held back an onslaught of several hundred warriors wielding catapults by taking control of a massive cannon. The cannonballs are guided using motion control which work quite well in this game. It's fun yet challenging to have a first person view of the cannonballs as they sail across the battlefield and are guided by motion to strategically take out catapult targets and hoards of advancing warriors. So far I'm having a blast playing this game. Heavenly Sword just might keep me from playing Warhawk for awhile.

Well hell it looks like according to the developer of Heavenly Sword there will be NO downloadable content and the game is getting bad reviews:

Speaking in a recent interview, Nina Kristensen, Co-founder of Ninja Theory and Chief Development Ninja for Heavenly Sword revealed that there will be no downloadable content for Heavenly Sword on the PS3. She states the team thought about it, but their focus then shifted to making the bext possible single player offline experience. Moreover, Nina was asked for her thoughts on various reviews of which scored the title as low as a 6 and claimed that was a bit harsh and it hasn't been taken personally.

Apparently there is conflicting information regarding DLC for Heavenly Sword.

Tameem Antoniades of Ninja Theory had to respond to that clamor for more content with a lure: that is, Heavenly Sword will get more content depending on the game's sales.
