Hi everyone im new joined today!

I was hoping someone could help me out as im really stuck at the mo. I have a Supercard SD (Sd To GBA) Its blue and has bobba Fett on the front (as far as i know its not a fake one as ive checked and it looks right). I bought it off someone that had roms already installed on it (nes, sms and gba and most of them work fine) and it came with a cd with Supercard version V2.50 for Sd version, and Superpass2 version 1, and aslo Gba media player version 1.30.

Now when i boot the supercard up i can access the nes, sms and gba roms with no problem and most of them work fine, theres also a selection called filmplay which goes into a different gui but i have nothing in the other options (as i have no movies or music, but i do have 2 pictures but they do not come up).

note: i did a system test and everything said it was ok and the system version is 1.70

Now the problem i am having is i can't play NDS roms, ive converted one to play using the supercard V2.50  and have had 2 versions off the file, one named .dsq and the other .dsi both with .sav, ive loaded them onto the the sd card and went to access them on the ds but nothing has showed up under the nds part.

Now i read somewhere that you can't play the ds games without a ds card in the back so i put in the demo of metriod prime in and still nothing, and then i read somewhere that you need a flash6 or something to get it to work as the when you boot the supercard its running in gda mode (which makes scenes as the card is in the gba slot) so it fools it into thinking its playing a ds game.

Can anyone tell me how i can run the ds games as i can't figure out what i need to do

try using /check marking the SD settings on the supercard patcher options before patching

the latest patcher is 2.62 and latest firmware is 1.83

First off, Welcome to scdev!


NOTE: Before jumping from 1.70 to 1.83 you need to go from 1.7 > 1.8 > 1.81 > 1.83. If you go straight to it, the emulators will quit working.

I think the main problem is his supercard run in GBA mode.

Because he say he try to put the demo card in slot1 and he ask about flashme.

so, this mean his DS is unflash. 


2 choices for you.
-buy passme device (Superkey) or slot1 flash card that has pass me feature.
-Flash your DS the lastest one is FlashMe V.8a

Doggy's right, you need some sort of passthrough device in order to launch it in DS mode.  You said the CD came with Superpass 2 software, but I'm guessing you didn't receive an actual Superpass 2 with it, so I'd recommend buying a NoPass device like a Superkey or Max Media Launcher or something.  The Action Replay DS will also function as a NoPass if you hold Select upon bootup.

You can install FlashMe to your DS which will automatically boot the Supercard in DS mode without the need for a passthrough device, but you need to have one at least once in order to install FlashMe in the first place.

thanks everyone, im going to updgarde my firmware and then try using the flash me and see if i can get it working

you cant flash your ds without a passme in the first place
