The PSP God of War: Chains of Olympus - Special Edition: Battle of Attica demo UMD finally arrived in the mail yesterday.  I must say the game demo is awesome and well worth the wait!  This is by far one of the best looking PSP games I've played, even better than Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow or Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters. The game graphics and levels are beautiful and gameplay is almost on par with the PS2 versions of God of War.  The button layout works quite well and I had no problems using the PSP analog stick while playing the game. Chains of Olympus definitely has a polished look and feel and should live up to the God of War franchise. I can't wait for the full version of Chains of Olympus to hit store shelves. The demo package also came with a collectors addition wrist strap metal pendant in the shape of the God of War (Omega) logo. Sweet!

As many who know the tales of the God of War know, Kratos, after being deceived into killing his wife and daughter, denounced his service to Ares. In order to seek absolution from his past sins, the Ghost of Sparta pledged himself as a champion to the Gods for the years to follow â€" these brutal crusades, in the name of Olympus, became legendary throughout the ancient world....

Experience Kratos' journey during the 10 years of servitude to the Gods of Olympus. In God of War: Chains of Olympus, Kratos will venture to lands that no mortal has ever walked upon. With the world plunged in eternal darkness and the Gods rendered powerless, Kratos will ultimately be forced to choose between his own personal redemption and saving the ancient world from certain destruction. Developed from the outset as an original story, God of War: Chains of Olympus delivers highly detailed graphics, incredible animation detail and yet another adventure in the dark and brutal world of Greek mythology.

i loved god of war for the ps2, but this is probably the only title except for loco roco that i actually want a psp for, and after having a real go on one i reasiled the graphics really ARENT quite as good as i imagined them to be compared to the ds, especially a game like zelda

You crazy? The PSP kills the DS in graphics. I mean Zelda looked good because it was animated/cartoonish 2D, but compare a "real" looking graphics game like Brothers In Amrs between the DS version and the PSP version and you will see how much the PSP kills the DS in 3D graphics.

Brothers in Arms DS Version:

You have got to be kidding me. ;D PSP graphics are way better than DS graphics. :idiot2: There is no argument there. I will agree DS has a better game library than PSP.  DS games are fun because of the unique touch interface and dual screens, not because of good graphics.

i didnt say they werent better, as i said they werent as good as i imagined them to be.
the bigger screen shows up the graphics more, especially the jaggies

i guess i was kinda expecting pc/ps2 gfx
