Ok i'm getting this new phone in about two weeks. And it can be used as a MP3 player so i was wondering if it could support a 4gb microsd HC card?

2gb is the biggest microSD.

4gb Microsd cards are formated with FAT32 and most devices (Like the phone your going to buy) Only support FAT Formated cards which have a limit of 2gb, Pretty annoying but it's the only way we can use above 2gb

I believe the only 4gig cards are microSDHC not microSD. The biggest microSD is 2gigs.

Or just get a Sony Ericsson mobile instead thats capable of using an M2 sd card and you will be able to use a 4G M2 sd memory card

I will also point out that it does not have bluetooth either so If you drive its usless for using a bluetooth earpiece for hands free

does it come with earphones?

if you dont get them with it you will have to buy them along with a usb cable as most of the reviews i've read on this state that it comes with neither 

on the plus side it uses a standard 2.5mm jackplug socket whoot .. altho using the headphones for hands free will need an inbuilt mic to talk to the other person doh!

Noted it supports WMA files as well as MP3 and on the downside the 1.3 megapixel camera is a letdown I dont even see any specs that says it has a light to use when its dark or low light

other phones to consider when buying a phone to double as an mp3 player ...I will recommend a SONY ERICSSON k750i /w800i (the walkman version of the 750i) (cheap as the price of this one you want and can use pro duo mem sticks which are pretty damn cheap now with the advent of PSP ) ... it comes with a 2 megapixel camera and a light and takes great photos and the music player is pretty decent too with megabase etc and comes complete with USB cable and earphones too as standard 

All sony ericssons that came out in the last couple of years are excellent walkman phones and recently came out with CYBERSHOT MEGAPIXEL quality cameras in them with xenon flash 

All have bluetooth,IrDa (infra red) and usb cables for connectivity 


And nope dont work for sony just owned lots of them and they are great phones excellent quality music and video player and excellent photo quality too
