Out of curiosity, how much power does the DS ONE use? I've read that the R4 has nearly the same power consumtion rate as a regular DS cart. But is the DS ONE different? I'm wondering because I seem to be getting less time out of my DS ONE Compared to my R4.

I haven't noticed any difference when I had an r4 to time playing with sc1 or ncard, is the backlight at same level when on both carts?

Dreadscythe

yes. Just feels like the DS ONE uses more power.

I think mine uses a lot more than regular carts.....

Dudu.exe

all cards uses more batery then a real card..

the ROM in original game is more fast and consumes less energy then any flash memory ( SD cards )

If I put the EZ 3in1 in the DSL but not use its ram/rumble , will it consume much power?

It will consume some, but I'm not sure how much.  It depends on whether the RAM is enabled all the time when power is present or only when being used.  People have speculated that the slot-2 Supercard's RAM is always on even when it's not being used, which contributes to its poor battery life.

Now I use R4 with 3in1 with brightness level 2. and i think batery life is very short.
