Hey guys I'm trying to play Worms 2, but everything goes good until I finish making my team and trying to go through the learning portion.  It starts to load and when the worm drops down it stops on the bottom screen of the ds and the whole game freezes.  It seems to load a little slow too I don't know if that's the game or somethings wrong, but if anybody has a solution to this please tell me.  Thanks

No solution yet mate for you but a few questions.

what sort of card do you use? such as slot 1 or 2 and make and model

What sort of memory card are you using? 512mbs/1gig/2gig's and make

Are you using the arm7 hacked rom or an original rom of worms 2 open warfare

Do you have any cheats or other options enabled from use of your cards software?

He's definitely using a slot 2 supercard, but the amount of memory, we're not sure.
Maybe if you updated to the latest version & patcher?

solution is using a faster memory card there are posts on this elsewhere on the forum and also stated in the documentation on the supercard website 

3. 1368 ROM need a high speed flash memory card, if haLt in "LOADING", please use high speed flash memory card. 

I had the freeze problem on my girlfriends supercard rumble mini sd .... bought a new sandisk ultra II mini sd card and the freezes went away 

the problem IS NOT THE MEMORY as the RUMBLE CARD does not have any extra memory!!!

and running NDS game doesn't use ram

it does if you set your rom to play from supercard
which we had to do with a lot of games not to long ago

I use a slot 2 Super Card Mini SD

not sure how i can find out if it's a hacked rom, but I got it at NDS-Roms
Do you have any cheats or other options enabled from use of your cards software?
I enabled the cheats when I out'ed it on the Super Card program

btw - I can play Zelda:PH just fine on my ds right now so if that helps any...

Hi, zelda came out ages ago in japan and so was added to the SC update ages ago and thats why the english version works.

Ok i would be almost certain you don't have the arm7 version of worms 2 so check your PM

but you DO still need to have a faster mem card

Ah ok didn't know that mate! my 2 mem cards are like the cheapest there is and seem to run worms 2 ok but i guess i must just be lucky with the speed of the cards.

The sandisk ultra II mini sd I bought cost £8 free post and package so cheap enough for me

As mentioned in my other thread, I bought a Sandisk Ultra II and Worms still doesn't work. I do have the Supercard SD, so apparantly you need this SD card AND the Supercard Mini or newer to play the game. I hope they fix that soon.

nothing else have you tried those settings?

finally is your Ultra II a genuine Ultra II? theres a lot of Sandisk fakes out there especially on Ebay

Thanks. I am unlucky. I did try all that and I verified the cards speeds in HDbench. Ebay is shady...but I still love it!
