Lost touch of supercards, need a little help please.

Bein has having my comp break, ive been using a old one for ages and couldnt be bother getting all the supercard software etc on it.

finally got me a new comp now though, but ive lost touch with supercard info etc.

were can i download the supercard software from that patches the games or wahtever its called lol.

and how do i find out what version software is in my supercard lite now? so i can upgrade to the newest one.

when i download the software, its got no set up.

asks you to replace the old one with this one, but i dont have the old 1 to be replaced.

Sounds like you're downloading the OS for the slot-1 Supercard. You need to go into the "Soft" section for downloads for your specific cart.

Hold L+R upon bootup and press A a few times to find your current version. You must upgrade in order or the built-in emulators will break as described by http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=10373.0
1.63 -> 1.7 -> 1.80 -> 1.81 -> 1.83

scroll down a bit futher and get the 2.62 patcher/installer then copy and paste the 2.63 update over it .... sorry about that I forgot the latest patcher was just an exe update

you need this >>> SOFTWARE: SC Lite v2.62 & FIRMWARE v1.83 2007.09.04

and as above make sure you upgrade the firmware in order so it does not break homebrew stuff

ive done everything you said, but the software still stays v2.62 even though ive copied 2.63 over it.

and my firmware wont go from 1.70 to 1.80 for some reason. sum chineese crap comes on the screen, if i turn it off it hasnt upgraded, but leave it on, n it stays on, forever, literally.

then you have the chinese firmware and not the english firmware otherwise you would see it says press A to upgrade to the latest firmware
