I just don't understand this $hit.  How can Wii Sports be a year old and these new games like Victorious Boxing and Burnswick bowling suck SOOO bad compared to the old Wii Sports game? This Victorious Boxing is such a let down. The controls in Wii Sports work better and the camera work in Victorious Boxing is horrible. I mean the fact that Wii Sports has been out for a year and the controls for the boxing game are better then this new game is crazy as hell to me. Whats wrong with these developers throwing out pure crap and touting it as a Wii Sports "expanded" game? Is Wii Sports really just that damn good or are these developers really just cutting that many corners?

definately cutting corners. I have a friend who programs for EA in Florida. (not saying that EA is but, look at the basketball controls, unplayable). I think everyone felt wii motion was a passing fad, now they have to move so fast to catch up, which = $hit.

I think Victorious Boxer is extremely close to generation 1 software... at least I think it was in Japan.  The US version is nothing but a language port.

I dunno bout you guys, but I find it fun.
If the motion controls bugs you, then use the classic controller mode.

Just tried it.  I think most people would feel at home with Swing Mode 2.  At least I lasted four rounds as opposed to Swing mode 1 where I got KOed on the spot.

My other problem is that the game seems to work only once.  I've tossed away two DVDs on this game.    Anyway, don't think I can play anymore as I don't like to waste DVDs.

I'm as astonished as you are.  I burnt it twice with the same characteristics.  Boot once, and then the Wii can't read it again.

I'm all ears for input but I don't want to keep wasting my DVDs on this game.

LOL that's weird. In my case it was the opposite.
First time got DRE, then it worked and has continued working since.

Tested Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and it exhibits the same problem.  3rd wasted DVD in a single day. 

EDIT: I think with both games not working, it's time to call my Wii playtime over.  I have no idea what's causing the problem and noting that these same media worked before on other titles, the only conclusion I can come up with is that for some reason, copy protection has caught up with me.

I changed media to Verbatim and it seems Victorious Boxers is working now.
