Now im never getting a psp

After working in the summer and putting 3/4 of my earnings into the bank, i had 140 bucks and was gonna buy a used psp with a 1GB card or so. However, I just lost a $70 history textbook and the rest is going towards christmas gifts for the family

That sucks, man. If it helps any keep in mind that the longer you wait the more price cuts it will have had.

Actually, that makes me think. Im on reduced lunch for low income people, so their may be a reduction (or even freebie) on the price of the book

I am sorry to here this. With that said i hope you and your family are doing great. Not being able to afford things sucks. I know first hand as a child. All the more to do better in school (i know total after school special, but still true). I love playing video games, basically all my life (or from about the time i was 8-10) now i am almost 37. As much as i love playing, i would give it up in a heartbeat to make sure my daughter does not go without. I am not talking about spoiling her, but learning the value of money. Unfortunately, you have learned a hard lesson at a young age. At least you still have a DS, correct?

That income tax that everyone complains about goes to the government so that they can give people welfare and build parks and stop global warming and stuff. $:-\$

Sorry about the PSP. I can't feel much sympathy since I've always been content with a DS and have never had any desire whatsoever for a PSP... but I DO loose stuff all the time and then gave to pay for it... and that's annoying. So we see eye to eye on that.
