After i encode my video's they work on the DS, but the video only appears on one of the screens.
so when i use dpgsplit from dpgtools131 it makes two additional files. they both say mpg on the icon. but the files have .m1v & .mp2..one is audio the other is video..

my ds wont read the two created files from dpg...what do i do???

the dpgsplit splits the .dpg into its video and audio stream, it will not let you view a video on 2 screens or anything like that, that is not what its made for.

.m1v is the video stream and the mp2 is the audio stream they are pretty common video and audio stream formats in their split separate components ....they are then MUXED or mixed together into an output format when processed :)

no doubt they have associated themselves with whatever program you use to view them/listen to them  :)

In this case its whatever you have installed for MPG or MPEG files :)

Both of them are right.  There is currently no way to view your own video files across both screens.  You will have to settle for using one screen at a time.
