Man what a pleasant surprise! I was not expecting too much from this game but am loving it! Sure it's the old MK but it plays sooooo nicely on the DS. The speed and graphics are great (for the DS), the move list on the top screen is wonderful and the Wifi multiplayer is just flat out bad ass! Defiantly a better game then I was expecting it would turn out to be!

Hell even the megadrive and snes and original gameboy monochrome had MORTAL KOMBAT so why not the DS

Does this one have blood in it ? I remember getting the snes version and the blood was removed in mk2 i think it was.

This really is a decent conversion - I played MK on the snez and arcade and the online multiplayer is superb, someting you just dont get in emulators!

Now the moves seem to be the same as the snes version of UMK3 so grab a guide for that gamefaqs maybe?  And that should get you started.
