DS demos now available on Wii

from the net .....

Nintendo has unveiled a new Wii channel that gives users the chance to download DS demos and Wii trailers.

Called Everybody's Nintendo, the channel, which is currently only available in Japan, allows users to view footage of new and forthcoming Wii games, as well as downloading demos of the titles for DS.

The DS demos, which can be transferred to the handheld from the Wii wirelessly, are stored in the unit's internal memory and then erased when it's switched off.

There is no news on a UK launch date for the service.

so the hints of the new nds having internal memory for downloading games from your wii may be true after all...........

the internal memory its talking about is just the small memory used to store download play games...surely...

Well I'm going to agree with both.

I agree that kkan's post was referring to the internal memory that our DS's have now.

I also agree that this might solidify some hopes for an updated DS that could also utilize this channel. Maybe they'll allow virtual console games to be playable on the DS. !!

meh does it also mean we would be forced into buying a new ds to take advantage of downloadable demos??

... the other point would be they would have to invent some sort of browser type software to use to go download the demos?

maby they are thinkin of intergrating a browser into the new ds?

To get the demo you would just go into the DS and go to download play, no need for them to add a new browser on the current models. I would LOVE it if they would allow us to play the VC games on our DS units, that would be bad ass!
