compressed too large. Sounds like there is no way to backup that type of save yet.

You'll probably have to wait till someone incorporates the direct save to CF/SD code into etool so that the entire save can be put onto the super card instead of having to go through the SC's s-ram and QPCed

skydra

is anyone even working on that right now?

Sure am, but the SD is the only one I can test on, and writing files is dodgy at best :(  (locks if a file is present and was not closed properly) - Dont really want to release anything yet though because even with the CF GBA MP the writing code is not fully card safe. (I have also looked at the source for RAIN for the GBAMP to see if it is portable, and with a bit of effort it could work with the latest M3/SC/GBAMP compatible FAT driver, but it is based on a fairly early edition)

Which game are you trying to backup, and did you try with ETool or EToolSMS?  (ETool 3.12G has much more room to compress 2mbit saves into, while EtoolSMS will only be able to backup highly compressable saves like NDogs with only a little progress (ie very few mic commands) or Advance Wars which does not have a tonne of non-repetitive data anyways.)

If you are trying to backup Nintendogs, look into the dog trainer here:
http://www.aibohack.com/nds/trainer.htm
DSPet put far better NDogs specific code to reduce the save copy size by eliminating mirrored data (1st half of the save is generally the same as the second in NDogs). If you use a SRAM .sav file like one of the ones that comes with ETools, and modify the .sav name properly it should work with supercard and QPC.

Most software scanning for brickme will find it in newer homebrew software. Its normal I'm afraid.
