IGN gives High Velosity Bowling for PS3 a review score of 7.5

That is the same score IGN gave Wii sports. IGN gives Brunswick Pro Bowling for Wii a 5.5 revew score.

N4G.com: High Velocity Bowling: Better Than Wii Bowling? (Review)
I don’t think High Velocity is about to kick Wiis out of the retirement home . . . but the motion controls are both slightly more complex and more satisfying. You grip the Sixaxis underhand, which feels a whole lot more like holding a bowling ball than it does when clutching an oblong Wiimote. Proper positioning puts your thumb over the X button to select options and your pointer/pinky over the R2 and L2 buttons for spin.

Next PS3 firmware update paves way for web-enabled Blu-ray, PIP upgrade, and DivX playback.
In light of the recent announcement of Lionsgate's BD-Live movies, the latest firmware update for the PlayStation 3 has been speculated to be released as early as this month already. We're not sure if it'll already have DivX technology, but here's what movie studios expect: the next PS3 firmware could pave the way for interconnectivity functions of BD-Live Blu-ray movies.

In the same conference in which Lionsgate made their announcement, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment executive VP Don Eklund expects that the new firmware will give the PS3 system a Profile v1.1 (PiP) upgrade.

God of War III confirmed for PS3. Jaffe wants to be involved.
He says he has always had a "master plan" for the story of Kratos and would like to see it become gaming reality. . . "With the way it stands right now, there are just too many things getting in the way of me doing that so I have my notes, people at Sony have my notes, and I've pitched them to them. They seem to like them. How much of that ends up in God of War III is certainly not my guess."

New LittleBigPlanet trailer sailing through the big seas
Knowing that Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet requires quite a lot of cooperation with your friends (especially if you're expecting to beat some little big baddies like giant squid, perhaps), manning a whole ship of pirates might be a task easier said than done. Especially when "a whole ship of pirates" here only refers to just two little big hands on deck. - QJ.net

Nice.  That game looks super bizarre.  Also, I still have yet to play Velocity Bowling.  I have to check that out tonight.
