I can't seem to get it to work. I patched it with DLDIrc and it just sits at a screen that says DS Organize. Im using a supercard CF with a 4GB Sandisk

EDIT: I got it working but there appears to be corrupt images instead of certain letters. Please help

Strange.  Try downloading a different version from here . . .

Fons

alright i downloaded the one you said to and i'm still having problems. It only loads every few times and when it does it has scribbles insted of some letters.
This is what I did
1. Patched it with DLDIRC
2. Copied it onto CF Card
3. Ran it

is there some step i'm missing?

dantheman

You did place the DSOrganize folder on the root of your card, right?  You need both the .nds file and the folder for it to function.

Otherwise, check your card for corruption using CHKDSK or something.

Fons

Yeah I put the folder on the root of the CF card. I ran chkdsk and nothing came up. This is starting to make me mad.

Try using a clean un-patched copy (DSO should still have the legacy libfat drivers) but if that doesn't work, then I'm out of ideas. =/

I tried and it just loads the splash screen without the cow

I found the problem it's my 4gb CF card i was wondering if its because of the 4gb size does anyone else use a 4gb card and dsorganize i need to know whether to get a 4gb or 2gb when i take it back.

bitblt

I have SCCF and my 4GB CF memory card works fine. I use a 4GB 133x PQI brand.

Fons

I switched to a 2gb version and it works great now

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I would just ask in this one.

Does DSOrganize view .txt files? I like the real time guide in the SCDS1. But I might switch to a different slot 1 for a couple weeks just to shake things up. And I know no other cart has rtg, but...I wouldn't mind just stopping the game, opening a homebrew app, then reading the .txt.

So if DSOrganize can't read .txt files, anyone know of any homebrew app that can?

Thanks.

Wow, that works beautifully. Guess I should have tried it before I asked. Too bad there's no way to make it pop up during a game. And that interface is about a hundred times better than the Supercard's real time guide's interface. I don't know why the team has implemented an interface kind of like that, instead of the ugly-ass one it has.

Plus, I don't know how Dragonminded got the scrolling to work so perfectly in DSO, but none of these flashcart makers can make one nowhere near as good. The actual little scroll bar that you touch your stylus to, actually moves up and down along with the stylus. I mean the whole thing is perfect. But just about every cart has a crap scrolling feature. It's crazy.

Anyways, thank you dan.

Hi

Dragonmind was able to do it because he's an awesome NDS programmer!!!

Yeah, okay, I know that's not really much of an answer, but think about it. I mean, who was able to write a web browser in about a month's time when many other developers had been struggling for ages to write one?

Dragonminded just knows how to program the DS very well, very possibly as well or better than many commercial developers.

Sorry, had to say that.
