Will the firmware for SLOT-2 SuperCards ever be skinnable/modified?

Hi,
New SuperCard MiniSD owner here  :) I love everything about the card, except for the interface. (although I haven't had it for much time)

I know there used to be a way to skin SuperCard SD, but it was discontinued.
And the author of it says
"I just got an email from Romman saying that they are redoing the Supercard menu. I am guessing that it will be a complete redesign and not just a reskin again due to some things he said. So just wait for that."

But that was June 17,2007. Does this mean that I shouldn't hold my breath on a redesign? Or should I e-mail Romman and ask him about it (also what is his e-mail?)

Thanks!

There are some ways out there to skin it but you might end up with a brick :/
and whats wrong about it? It's probably the fastest menu to get to your games etc.
and since supercard and everyone else is mostly focusing on slot 1 I don't think a change will be released.

i really like the current skin, tbo, however, if you go into the FAQ section of the forum there is a skinning program.

WARNING: you will have to use an old firmware (1.63 iirc)
WARNING 2: if you arent careful it is very easy to brick your supercard

That's what I'm talking about;
These two things (especially having to use old firmware) isn't exactly encouraging.. :/ If only you could skin newer versions...
IMO, It would be a lot better if the SuperCard firmware supported skins.. Now that would be something :D

the supercards firmware really cant be big enough for anything fancy, so it would have to be on the card, files on the card = longer load times = annoying, and after the bricking incident with the custom skinner i think that romman etc would be reluctant to try.

is the current skin really that bad though? its extremely quick and has a really nice interface when you just wanna play that game

There was but the new update came out the firmware skinning program didnt work with it any more
