Just saw that! Great news....I still think the DS-Link is the best slot-1 solution (built solid, nice menu, excellent compatibility). Just too bad you need to flash the DS to use it. Not a big deal to me, but might be to some others..

ive been getting freezing on this update, most games. mainly mortal combat though, lots also fail to start

any ideas?

Hmmm. I haven't gotten my DS-Link back from my brother so I can't test. This is probably a dumb question but did you patch clean ROMs again?

No freezing here, but the new software (patcher) IS freezing on multiple PC's I have tested it on. For now, I went back to v2.20. Try that, and scrap v2.30 amd 2.31 of of patching software. I suspect that the patching software is having something to do with your freezing (if you are using these newer versions) as it does not seem to be writing the rom completely to the card. The firmware however (v2.31) is working fine, and of course adds SDHC support which is a GOOD thing

the roms were probably patched with 2.20, before i updated to 2.31, after i updated the firmware, i got the freezing

does anybody have UMK running properly on ds-link w/2.31 firmware?
