Hi, I just found an old DS and to my surprise there was a supercard just sitting in it. I'm trying to bring it up to date and I'm having "issues" with it. I figured the firmware was out of date so I tried to upgrade it and run a test on the supercard one. Supercard says everything is A-okay and the firmware was the newest, I believe 1.01. But when I tried to upgrade the shell the damn thing just quit on me, started giving me black and white screens. I tried a few things and OS 1 worked but I don't think I can run anything new like contra on it. OS 3 is what I want but it's the one that just crashes me. Any suggestions for what I might be doing wrong?

Make sure you're using the right OS, Os 3 sp1 for v1, v2 and OS3 sp2 for Scds1 v3 (sdhc).
