I'm so excited about point 4!   slot-2 support SuperCrad!  I just love the supercrad.   :tard:

Interesting about point 4 though, despite the misspelling.  It sorta sounds like they're adding support to the GBA-to-DS linkup in the DS Pokemon games, doesn't it?  Obviously the translation could be wrong, but it would be very interesting if they were able to do that on the NAND-based slot-2 Supercards.  As far as I'm aware, unless you have the official GBA Pokemon games, the only way to migrate Pokemon over is with a 3in1 expansion pack, flashing the game to NOR after using patches made by cory1492.  I know the SCDS has better GBA-DS linkup features, but I don't know the extent of it at all really.

yeah looks like it the supercard team must have been reading onekellys post from last week   :)

Well, i guess some of us have a little juice around here (guru will get that joke), LOL!!! Actually i guess that would be called clean livin'! Now, if i could direct my luck to something like the lottery, I could then buy all of scdev a slot1 card!

I like this DMA option. I have a 2gb Kingston Japan microsd. And PoR would freeze every once in a while when I went into the start screen. I got fed up with it and just threw the game on my DS Linker, which plays the game flawlessly.

So hopefully with this DMA option now, I won't get anymore freezes. Another great release from a great team.

Is there any word that the SC Team is working on to speed up how fast a game loads? I was using my Evolution the other day, and the games literally start a second after you press A. It almost an instantaneous startup. Where the SCDS1 takes up to what feels like, 5 seconds or more on most games. So if one or more carts can load games almost instantaneous(the DS-Linker loads the games just as fast as the Evo, I forget how fast the R4 loads them), I don't see why the SCDS1 can't.

I know this is a very small gripe. But I know that many others would like to see them speed up the loader. This is the only fault that I see of the SCDS1. It's pokey at starting up, and loading a game.
Setup:

Slot 1: CycloDSx2GB Kingston Japan, Supercard DSOne+1GB Nokia(J), 16G G6 DS Real, 16G DS-Linker, R4x1GB Kingston(J),
Slot 2: G6 Lite
PSP: 3.40 OE-A

The SC sites 3.0 sp3 for standard SCDS1 is not working atm.

Question, is this only for the SDHC version?

I got mine from GBAtemp since the link at the supercard site isn't working.

Actually, now that I look at it doesn't say whether it's the sdhc or regular version.  I'm guessing it's the regular version, because the others in that download section are labeled sdhc version.

Or it's at linfox too:

I tried it but I can't figure it out. I have Pokemon Emerald in my Slot 2 SuperCard Lite, and enabled GBA Union (although I'm not sure how the GBA Union is supposed to know which GBA game to link up to from the SC Lite) and ran Pokemon Diamond, but the option to migrate wasn't there.

Anyone else figure it out?

EDIT: I realized my mistake, the Slot 2 SC is just for RAM purposes. I put a Pokemon Emerald rom with saves into my Slot 1 SCDS1, and loaded the rom to Slot 2 with GBA Union on, but it still didn't work. I wish Romman had a bit more instructions than just to use the SuperCrad.

EDIT: It works! You need to use a clean rom; I had simply copied over my SC Lite formatted rom. However, my save file is corrupt, so this still hasn't worked for me yet, but the function itself does work and it's pretty easy.

Final EDIT: Got it to work for me. Turns out I was using a 64k save, whereas Pokemon Emerald uses the 128k saves. After converting my old save file to 128k, every thing's working great. Keep in mind that Pokemon in party and Pokemon with Hidden Moves can't be transferred over until you fix things back on the GBA side.

Conclusion - Use a clean rom, put it on your SCDS 1, and make sure your Pokemon Emerald .sav file is 128k. =]

Bonus! Since the SCDS 1 doesn't actually save GBA .sav files (as far as I know), the pokemon you transfer over to Pokemon Diamond/Pearl don't ever actually leave your GBA game either. Pretty easy way to start cloning, actually. All of the pokemon I transferred over are still in my Pokemon Emerald .sav file.

does anyone know if DMA mode helps at all?

I ordered a kingston japan 4GB microSDHC card (supposedly class 4) and it runs too slow on my SCDSone.  the usual culprits cause it to behave terribly (castlevania intro, POR pausing, animal crossing, etc)
