Is there a program that lets me use AR codes on the dslink?

DSLink is compatible with .cht files, although the ones that come with DSLink are in Chinese.  Regardless DSLink will work fine with English .cht files. I'm pretty sure you can use the ar2cht.exe found on the Supercard site here.

Do you know if I would have to repatch all the games that my kid has in his Dslink or can I just add the cht files to the root of the card?

Thanks for the help but i'm having an issue. Trying to put cheats on pokemon ranger only, I got the codes and put them in notepad and saved it. then with the ar2cht made a cht file. the dslink canot find the new cheat file that i created, i tell it where it is but at the end of the patching process it says cheat not found. Any ideas? I"m sure its my fault somewhere but can't figure out where i'm making the mistake.

You will have to repatch the games to add new cheat features.

Note: Make sure you download the latest 2.31 kernel and patcher software. By default the patcher software will install in the Chinese language, but you can change it to English. Many cheats are already included with the latest software, you only need enable them.  Again, they will be labeled in Chinese but will work fine with US games.

I'm not sure what the problems is, and I can't check because my brother has my DS-Link. Perhaps someone else can answer?  I do know that latest software will probably already have cheats for Pokemon ranger built in. It's just a matter of enabling them with the patcher, although they will be in Chinese so you will have to experiment a little.

Thanks for trying to help bitbit. Still not able to make it work and your right that the latest software has the cheats in Chinese, the reason that i'm trying to get the cheats in English is to make sure that i know what i'm doing b4 i try on one of the newer games like FFCC. I'll repost if i got any more questions
