would be hard to play more than one fret at a time using the X,Y,A,B BUTTONS

the ds's sound quality is poor, and there will only be like 20 songs i think... so it doesnt sound that good compared to the wii version ive allready got, will wait for reviews.

sound is quite good actually its SURROUND SOUND! yes not 5.1 but it is SURROUND none the less!

better with some nice BIG QUALITY HEAD PHONES 

try playing the game 'BOOGIE' the sound on that and moreso through headphones is GREAT

this can still be played on a flashcart if im not mistaken, all thats needed is the perephiral that will most likely be sold seperately after, though i wont buy it if there is no left hand mode which there will hopefully be

i dont know why they would sell peripherals serperately, except for maybe on ebay - when it was on console, you could have multiplayer with 2 guitars, on ds - i dont think you could do download play, so you would need to buy a cart anyway, thats if it has any multiplayer at all

Afaik it HAS WIFI MULTIPLAYER you can do the battle mode aka console versions
