I still haven't flashed it because i was to scared to brick my ds.
Can anyone tell me a way to flash it with minimal risk to brick my ds?
I got a supercard minisd and a super(which is almost broke in half)

Is it a DS or DSlite (as this makes a difference)?

http://www.dspassme.com/FlashMe.shtml This site has info on both. If you have a DSlite.

There is a great tutorial on gbatemp with all the latest firmware (you may have to join to see it). http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=33481

if you have a ds phat (old), then just go for it, make sure you hold the battery i and the charger cable in too.

if you have a ds lite, it is still worth doing, it is a little more dangerous, but a little patience will see you through it fine.

most of the bricking scare was caused at the start when it was first flashed, as nobody knew about the 'screw of death' which if touched by a flash tool will power off the ds.

also, as soon as you are past the first few % of flashing (just a few seconds), the ds will have the recovery code programmed, so you can keep re-flashing with no worries if anything does go wrong

I got them both(Phat and Lite)
Which one shall i use?

Haoie

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

If your going to do it on the lite the best thing to use is a toothpick wrapped in tinfoil, but you tape all the sides to cover the foil except on the bottom where the foil has to be sticking out.  I did that and didn't fail a single time because he tape isn't conductive :D

If i flash it on my DS(Phat) i can play it on my lite too right?

Devil_Spawn

yes, but only using the superkey, unless you flash the lite, in which case, neither will need it.

flash the ds phat first to get a bit of experience, then the lite should be easy.

But all of those instructions are with passme

I've been flashing DS and DS Lites for longer than I can remember. Just flashed a new Crimson Red model I was given for my birthday tonight. Not that I really *need* to flash anymore, but I kind of like playing a Supercard Lite in the unit without having anything in slot 1....don't ask me why  :D

Never once did I brick or ruin a DS unit....just follow the instructions and you'll be just fine.
