I'm relatively a noob so I might not know what I'm talking about.  But I cant remember what version of firmware I had for the SC Lite, but newer DS started not to work.  So I started downloading the newest firmware versions.  Found out later that I had to do them sequentially.  It shows that I'm on version 1.81 right now, but i just get white screens.  The supercard.cn site said to get v1.63 first, but to do that, i have to do v1.44 to 1.5 to 1.6 to 1.63?  Can I downgrade my current firmware version back to 1.44, then just sequentially upgrade?  If so, where can I find the older versions of the firmware, I cant find them anywhere, oldest is 1.63 on the site.
Thanks.

It probably came with 1.63, which is safe to downgrade to I believe as long as you're not using a Rumble cart.  However, after 1.7 you can jump straight to 1.85.

Your games probably stopped working because you only upgraded the firmware and not the patcher software as well.  You need to upgrade both so they can work together.

Does anyone know where we can get our hands on 1.63, I haven't upgraded my supercard past this for I don't have a backup of it.

Thanks for the upload, but any chances of you having the .bin version?

dantheman

That's the only one available from http://romnet.co.uk/ffm/

Usually they don't release the same firmware in both .scu and .bin versions, so perhaps the SCLite only has a *.scu file for 1.63.
