Now, I know before the super card firmware update, people were using NDStool to remove the video from castlevania to make it small enough to play.

I'm wondering if this could be done to games like Ultimate Spiderman, only instead of removing intro movies, remove the voice samples. The streaming of the voice samples from the SD/CF card causes most if not all of the games slow downs.

Not only for ultimate spider man, but if this could be done for other games. Or will most games just lock up when they can't access that part of the game?

There might be a way to remove all of the audio/video files, but it wouldn't be possible to make a ripper that rips the voice samples from all roms.

There could also be a rom dissector that let you pick and choose what files you wanted to delete/copy out of a rom.

Yes, I know enough to know that there isn't some magic way to automatically do it, I'm just curious if anyone knows if it's possible, or if the game code would have to be modified in some way as well... which would more or less put it out of a normal person's means.
