DS WON'T FREAKING UPDATE TO 1.52! LOOK!

My stupid SD supercard WILL NOT update to 1.52!

I went to 1.50 first, and that worked, (the BIN file), but when I try to do the 1.52 update SCU file, it WON'T RECOGNIZE it on the SD card.

This is exactly what I'm doing:

+Taking the upgrade.scu
+Putting it onto the SD card where all the files are
+Booting the DS (tried w/ and w/o SuperPass in)

All I see is all of my files minus the new dsq ones I put in, it's like it will not recognize the SCU file to update.

Is there something I missed, and/or am I doing something wrong?

Please let me know exactly what you did to get them working!

is it in the root directory of your SD card (not in a folder)?

I had the same thing before, but solved it by downloading two other firmware updates. Either my downloads were screwed, or there's something foany going on.

you have shuere you´ve downloads the SD version??

CF version do not work with SD

I'm sure I got the SD version, I'm sure it's in the root directory (also tried in folders), and I'm also sure I removed the old one.

Only thing left is re dl'ing it I guess. (Which I already did once)

Exactly what did you go through to get it working Tbone? (And if you still have the file that finally worked for you, can you send it here)

I got the same problem, and i downloaded the good version (cuz it worked after I did the thing I explain after) cuz when I put it on my old GBA FlashCard, the update worked.

Try to format your card before probably ? (but didn't test, when I saw it wasn't working, I just try on my GBA one, and lucky me, it worked).

Yeah, thanks. I'm just gonna format my card, and try the update first-off.

I don't really have anything I can't re-get and put onto the card.

I tried 3 versions:
- one from the CD that came with my SC
- one mirrored by Shaun66 from GBATemp
- the one mirrored here.

first one wasn't seen by the SC
second one displayed gibberish on the screen
third one worked for me.

it was the only file on my SD card by the way...

not me, the official site was down for a few days when I got my SC.
