with the next firmware
is the slowdown with GBA games gonna be reduced?
or not

i really wanna know this
i'm intending to buy someone a Flashcard for GBA
and i dont wanna  sell him something  that doesn't work 100% with GBA games :p

sneef

I highly doubt it, based on the direction the supercard is taking.  GBA is not the priority for romman right now.

Dr.Wario

so i'm better of with a EZ-III then

sneef

I use an x-rom 512 for games that have slowdown, but supercard is still great for many many games.

takuma

Well supercard is perfect for like 98% of the gba games.  And it can hold way more then ezflash.

Koji

Err... SuperCard's full speed list is far far far below 98%. I haven't tried all games, but I'd say a good 40-50% have slowdown of some sort, a good 10% of which are nearly completely unplayable.

If they are only ever going to use it for GBA, get a true flash card or an M3.

For DS I looooove my supercard <3

Dr.Wario

now i still don't now what to chose

lol

socket

I hate to say it fearing a flamewar, but if GBA compatibility is what you want, go for the M3.  It truly is worth the extra cash.

Koji

socket: I don't think too many people will do a flame war over that. No matter how big of a fanboy is on one side or the other, it's pretty obvious M3 is better for GBA games.

When it comes to DS games that's a slightly different matter. They both have their ups and downs so it more comes to personal preference.
