Interesting, though whatever pic i upload comes out not looking like anything it was before? Im guessing we can blame the limitation of mario kart ds for that.

well, it looks like the decal is 16 color at 32x32 pixels. So unless you are putting something pretty small (Like an AIM icon) through it with only a few colors, you are going to get a blob of blobiness.
