immensly satisfied.

bought my first one a few months back (I have since given it (along with a new gba sp)  to a friend who lost everything (including all his videogames) to the recent hurricane in New Orleans - He loves it!)

I bought 2 more for myself at $50 US each off of Ebay.

one for me. one to put away for the future kids/grandkids.

(just incase the big 'N' decides to crack down on the production of this wonderful unit!)

I'm currently very happy with the way it runs gba games. I notice minor slowdown, but not enough to destroy game play.

I dont have a nds, so i have any thoughts on that platform.
C! = SC.SD + 2gb sd card
GBA=140, GB=534, GG=360, NES=735

I think the SC rocks.  I have a 1G SD card filled with GB, GG, NES and GBA games.  The slow games are due to either patching or the slower sram in the 32MB on the SC card.  The SD/CF card makes no difference in how the game will play, since it loads the game into memory.  Some games access the memory a lot (this causes slow down) and the patches effect memory cycles which also cause slowdown.   I have had about a 90% rate of games that play perfect out of the many tried.

I hope they update to a faster memory.  This would cost them $4.00 at the most (I should know, since I was a component buyer for an electronics manufacturer).  If they bought in higher lots, they could purchase for $2.00.  Depending on the interupt and voltage requirements, they could go cheaper, though I am assuming the higher cost due to the decsion to put this type of sram in there in the first place....

They should update the EMU's on the card as well.  I am not sure if these are hard installed or if they are part of the flash.  If so, they could update the EMU's with the firmware updates.

You can always use the last version of them using them like a gba rom (it works, that how I use them).

If you look on the chinese site, they have a download for a later PCE emu than what was included in an older SC firware (which the one in the firmware can be updated by them too), and essentially you can put it in the dir and it will use it instead of the one in the firmware, I compared hexwise to the official release and there is not a huge difference (entry address was patched and a couple other small things, probably the wait state or something) - which to me, at least, means there should be a way to update the emus by putting them in a dir instead of waiting for the firmware ones to get an update. (sure would beat building gba roms too)

Yes and No

I hate it now
I lost GBA support

Everytime I try to play a GBA game on the Supercard (SD) on my DS it freezes up.  (works fine on the GBA Player)

But then I love it with the DS games.   I have try many games that i would not given a chance like Pac N Roll and Metroid Prime Pinball

PoTaToE

It was less than a new original DS game (less than 40â,¬) and gave me a lot of good sensations :D (games, hb. apps., heretic, . . .)

100% I love my Supercard.

Just wish I could get Heretic to finally work

Extremely satisfied so far (only had it for about a week). It has played most of what I've tried so far. Sure it's not perfect, but it's what to expect. I'm thrilled to see all nice things to come.

I like the card, especially for NDS roms, but it drains my DS battery:\

I only get 3 hours of playing. It's very bad:\

If I knew this I wouldn't have bought it.

blueoakleyz

is that true? you only get 3 hours with it?

supercard rocks~!!!! rocks rocks rocks~!!!
i can go on forever... yes i can..
haha

anyway i get more about 5 to 6 hours of play.. i didnt keep track.. but satisfied enough to make it a too small deal or fuss.

come on, it's cheaper to buy battery than new games. let's say u only need to replace ur battery, say 3 months, i think it's still worth it.

i think if u get 3 hours of play, probably ur battery's gonna die soon.

L.D.

I was so happy with it for al the GBA games on my GBA SP.

Now I have an NDS and wow.
I am so happy.
First game was Yoshi and I got the same feeling as when I saw the first GBA game on it. JOY!!!!

Supercard is a great thing I love it!!!

Fantastic product.

I can play to the ZX Spectrum in my GBA   :D  :D  :D

One of the best buy you can do for your NDS or GBA.

Saludos.
