Supercard/Superpass some CFs work, some don't.

This only applies to nds roms.

I have followed the formatting guide, but some of my cf cards simply don't load nds roms, they stick on a white screen. GBA roms work fine. I have transfered the same roms to a similarly formatted card and that wone works for nds and gba. No number of reformatting changes this.

I have gotten them to work on a 128mb SanDisk compact flash and a 256 SanDisk, but they won't work on a 256 Lexar CF or a newer 256 SanDisk.

I apologize if this question was already answered.

This isn't just with CF but SD as well. If the cards have a slow access speed, games will either not work or will lock up more in game.

The faster the access speed the better the card works on the super card.

how do i know if mine are fast enough?
my lexars say  12x on them

MAD2X

12x seems slow, because there are some 150x out there, what I wonder is what is the magic speed to have it work perfectly? I mean you probably dont need 150x, is 32x enough? if not 60x? Maybe some ppl here experimented with different speed cards and can tell us what they found out, I need to know this myself because I'm buying a new card really soon.
ilver NDS w/Flashme V.6
Supercard SD v1.61 firmware
1 GB coreMicro high speed card

crap
i have a whole stack of lexar CF cards my dad gave me that are all 12x
will they work?
in what way would they be slow; in loading times cuz I could handle that,
or in actual gameplay? cuz that'd suck

Well... I'm too lazy to look up the thread where I did some mathy maths... But I believe the estimate was around 60 times if you wanted to play every game perfectly on CF. SD on the other hand is a lot wonkier. No one has a perfect explaination as to why SD is slower. Most people say it's because the SC doesn't support the highspeed read mode of SD because it requires licensing. But like I said, no one is positive.

so 12x is out of the question for supercard then? :(
