heya guys i have a supercard SD and a superpass  and when i put it into my DS all i get is a dual white screen and im guessin its not compatable is it something to do with the firmware and if so what can i do to sort this problem? id like to be able to get it to boot using the supercard but i have a Light Blue DS that was out with nintendogs UK so imm guessin thats the problem is there any way easy or hard i can downgrade the firmware if i have to ?

i just need to try this or return it cus i have 14 days to return it so any help from u guys wud be really appriated many thanks and im sorry if this has been mentioned a few times before i looked but i got confused so i thiught best thing to do was to ask .

You probally need a passme2. But check you're running the latest SC firmware ( 1.53 ? ) you may be in luck....

The Teal DSes are confirmed to be NEW firmware (I've hacked 4 already).  You will have to have a Passme2 in order to do DS stuff from the Supercard.

well it just shows a whiye screen i was told if i used a proper flashcard with the superpass and supercard i wud be bale to do it and im really clueless but cud somebody explain the difference between the pass me and super pass please?

I had the same problem as you: two white screens when using Superpass so I upgraded the SC's firmware 1.53 and it worked. So I could flash my DS.  But my DS is a silver one (wich came bundled with Metroid demo) bought in july this year.

I had the two white screen problem on a few brand new DS's, and it turned out that my SC had v1.44 firmware. Update the firmware and chances are it'll work.

EDIT: just saw that you have a Nintendogs bundle. You can still try, but I think the passme2 is what you will need.

well the firmware on my supercard is v1.53 cus i checked that and it works perfectly with GBA data im just wondering if i need to update my superpass or sumthing like that and is it only doin this because its not picking up any NDS data off the supercard or is it deffinatly the firmware? and where can i get a passme2 from cus i looked on ebay and it says the superpass it the same so cud someon plz explain to me what the difference is between the 2 ? many thanks in advance

Basically a superpass / passme ( they are the exact same thing ) only works with older versions of the DS firmware. You have a DS with a newer firmware hence you need "passme2" Passme2 is basically the same as a Passme but it has newer code programmed onto it, and the  "passme method" is slightly more complicated.

You can reflash a passme/superpass and turn it into a passme2 but you need to make JTAG cables etc, its a lot easier just to buy a new passme2 for most people.

If I were you I would Ebay your superpass, or send it to me and decide which game you're going to use your passme2 with. ( The passme has to be 'hardcoded' to a game )  + Also read up on how a superpass works and what you'll have to do to boot the SC in DS mode.

heya is there anywhere i can get this info from and i saw a passme2 to buy on the creators website so if i brought that would i have to then create my own passme or would using that one be ok? and is there a way i can downgrade my DS firmware without actually opening it or it having the bricking effect on it and yes i am slightly clueless i can get it to work with GBA roms lol but when i put NDS roms on my supercard they dont shop up and i was told i need them in a .nds format and they are, but basically when i switch my DS on with the superpass and supercard plugged in if theres a game in the SP it crashes and im guessing thats the firmware. so is there a way to get it working with my superpass and i do have a newer DS i wishing i had a older one now lol please any help wud be appriated a lot

You buy a type of passme2 per the game you have. Its all explained on the relevant web sites...  No there is no way to downgrade your firmware other than by taking the DS to bits and soldering wires everywhere. You're going to have to buy a passme2 sorry but your superpass is no use.

well thats ok now i know thanks for actually sortin me out and i have nintendogs and mario kart, so if i brought a passme2 i would be able to get this to work with my DS without much (hopefully) hassle im guessing you have a older DS then if u want my superpass lol i read u need to switch your DS on & off ?? sois there a simple way where u can put your data on a SD card run the card, in GBA mode and then load a DS game from that onto both screens i no i might be asking a lot lol but is there a way? and i have nintendogs i can use with it but will it damage the game at all or will all the hard work be done and all ill have to do is insert the game and play... ? as u can tell im clueless im sorry for hassliing u but ur the only person helping me atm  and my supercard doesnt reconise .nds files any idea why ??

You can't use nds files until you get a passme2. Sorry thats the end of the story. No it won't affect your DS cart in anyway. Yeah I brought my DS on launch day - I'm only joking about wanting your superpass, I installed flashme via wifime a looooong time ago.  

You'll really want to install flashme as well, using the passme2 with the SC isn't that straightforward. The article I posted previous has ALL the information you're going to need, just have a read through that.
