  I have an issue with my supercard software patcher, don't seen to be working in win xp sp2, when I run it  I get half the window and don't let me save games, and to closed the application I have to use alt, control, delete. please help.

sneef

i don't think it's xp sp2 that has the problem.  I think you'll find that many of the users here are on SP2, and running the app without a problem.  try removing it and reinstalling.

I guess you could try running it in win9x compatibility mode, if you really think that windows xp is the issue.

redfuel

I did the win9x compatibility mode, also the 256 color with the same results, I reformat my harddrive thinking was some type of software conflicting and no luck. anybody.

XP SP2 en localization here, its working fine for me and has been all along.

Are you using a custom theme dll or anything like that? Seems to cause problems for some people with the windows displaying wrong.

sneef

that's right, I have a contact who used a custom xp theme, and supercard software didn't display properly.

zektor

I stopped using theme software long ago because of this exact reason. Many programs would not display properly (ie: options cut off and so on)
Nintendo DSi
Nintendo Wii - cIOS38 Revision 12 (and more)
Madden PSP Slim v5.00 M33-6

I am using the classic theme basic stuff, but beside the issue, can I use another program that would work with my supercard cf. thanks

Sorry I'm not aware of any other software specifically for SC. Can you post a screenshot of how the app looks when you're not able to save or anything - that might help us resolve your problem.

( To get a screen shot press "Print Scrn" whilst its loaded, then paste that into MSpaint or something )

Cheers

I have the screenshot but don't know how post the image.[/img]

It looks to me like you're running at too low a resolution  or you have extra large fonts turned on or something. Try running the software at 1024x768? It doesn't look like there is anything wrong but simply your desktop is too small for the software to fit in?

redfuel

ratz. You are the man. changing the resolution and screen font was the issue. thanks a bunch.
