No more SL1 hole on newer DS's?

You could turn it into a challenge!

1. Run FlashMe.
2. Line up Cordless Drill
3. Drill
4. Stop and Short SL1 with Drill Bit

What do you think?

Its already a pain to short SL1, but this adds some more excitement :lol:

I'm thinking the popularity of the custom screwdriver will rocket....

<_< Not like you have to use the drill to do it... leave the system off, slowly drill a hole where it is on the older models... then you could just use metal object just like before.

Yeah, I still think my idea would be more fun!

Extreme DS Modding, how cool would that be.

You could also have team exercises, were one person could wear a blind fold and the other could yell "Stop!"

What was the DS? If it's the mario kart bundle I'm worried...

Maybe no need to worry as I got the Mario Kart bundle last week and the hole is still there.

My question is: Is there any guy from Europe who has bought a DS with no ! SL1 hole ?

My question is: I have ordered one DS today and want to look forward what kind of tools I need to open the whole case. Is there anyone with no such hole at the back ?

Wow. Got mine from Walmart a few weeks ago. Was fine, had the hole, and of course is now running Flashme 6.

just open the DS and drill it, you just need a triwing screwdriver, u can get them from ebay and other places.

Ok, I think seeing is believing. Not saying anyone is lying about this missing SL1 hole, but I would like to see a pic. Until then, I'm doubtful on the entire thing.
