I was 5 hours in and just gotten to Yoshi's island with everyone at level 10. Went to save and the game locked up. My save is gone. Any of you guys have a save for when you first get to Yoshi's island?

I have a complete save (level 33).  Probably doesn't help you much.  Good luck finding one though, someone erased my FF10 save a few years back and I never played it again.

You can find here http://nds.nobug.biz/index.php a savefile at 5:30 h playtime. Those are M3 saves, but you can convert them to Normal saves with this: http://nds.nobug.biz/m3savetool.zip

I appreciate that link. This save is a bit further than I was so if anyone has one from right when you get to Yoshi's island pass it on.

Otherwise I'll use this one. I really like this game but didn't want to start over.

Dig this - Hotmail says:

It is not possible to download files from Hotmail that contain incurable viruses. Contact the originator of the file, inform them that the file contains a virus, and ask them to send a virus-free version of the file.

I assume that they are wrong so thanks for trying. I don't know of anywhere to upload it.

Interestingly enough I started playing and it locked up and corrupted my save at the same spot. Of course I can just reload the save you gave me so thanks!

Wonder what the deal is with locking up on yoshi's island...?

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but i had the same thing happen to me. Right after i beat Kamek (in yoshi's island).
The link for the save file does not work anymore. Does anyone have a copy ?

A little update... Even after downloading a new save file, the game froze in exactly the same place.
After patching the game again while removing all the options, everything works smoothly again.
