u say the tough screen si off,are u sure it off or is it only the bakclight?,also if ur ds settings is to run gba on the bottom screen what happens?

The screen is definitely off, not just the backlight. It does not use the firmware setting at all, it just puts it on the top screen unless you start in GBA mode from the beginning.

i converted pokemon dash with the restart patch and it worked perfectly but when it restarted i tried to run animal crossing and it gave me 2 white screens,i turned off and then on the NDS and ran it and it worked,i also tried my gba roms and nothing worked from them(i get gameboy logo and nintendo but nintendo is glitched)i patched a gba with the new software and it worked so it seems that i must repatch my gba roms in order for it to work, i also tried to change the screen setting from the DS to the tough screen but the supercard still ran it on the top screen

also is the restart patch stable for NDS,should i applly it on all of my roms and patch them again for this FW?will my old saves work?

Strange that at least one of my gba games seem to work, but I think I didn't enable restart function with the previous sc tools with the game I ran but I used bubble2k's fast restart patcher instead.

I haven't tried other games, so maybe it is just one special game that worked.

BTW, the rominfo.dat is the same as the one that was released at december 2005 so it is probably unlikely that the new software patch gba games differently.

Why is the executable for the CF version called "SuperCardsd.exe".

I'm slightly worried about that, could other Supercard CF users check theirs.

it seems to be the software i tried a game with the older firmware and it wouldnt  run, i checked software and the options where to save to  eg supercard sd or the nds game couldnt be clicked ,  i am going to attempt it again  with the older and see .

ok installed  oldersoftware and took  new one off , the options  can  now be selected  and   tested and games work wehn converted   (firmware 1.54 )

now  trying with  new  firm

resaults with new firm and old soft  -  works    ok

will  try   updating new software

tried still  have that prob with selecting the sd card option, and its stuck on cf but the cf is shaded out and still cant switch

I had that trouble clicking the Cf option.. keep clicking away on all the options, eventually I could choose the CF ones... the executable name is worrying me though.. SuperCardsd.exe

I definately have not downloaded the wrong version and when the program starts it does in deed indicate on the top "2.50 for CF version"

Umm...I have the SD version fo the software (according to the title bar)...but it won't let me select run from SD. It defaults to the (disabled) CF option, but won't let me select the SD option. If I click on the supercard option it selects it, but obviously I then can't select the disabled) CF option, nor the non-slectable SD option.

Bug?

i am going to  uninstall it and remove the  reg files   and try again :/



just  tested it and still doesnt work  ah well    jrt  , uninstall the  new  version of the sd  soft and use the old with new firm  , from  my tests it   still works  ok with it like that

Ok, it selects the sd option once i select the save to sd option first. phew.

yup, i just did bit of frantic clicking on all options and got to the positions save to sd,run from sd.

I can't remember what the default settings were for 1.54.

Is save to SD,run position SD the best combination for compatibility/speed/saves?

Yup, just tried the game, and it gets passed the logo screen (which hangs on 2.44 sw), but hanged as I was about to fight Venom.

The real annoyance for me, is that the newer sw doesn't play Mario Tennis (E) anymore.  Just when I was advancing alot in the game as well.  I'd better try to convert the game in 2.44 again to see if it runs.
