QuoteThe most major characteristic has removed the GBA game function . Also only supports the NDS game function , like this may have quite good showing in the price aspect . In addition, M3 MINI SD Professional and M3 SD Professional Built - in the newest PDA system, the user has been allowed to obtain the best ultra value to enjoy .

this is the description they give for the m3 slim sd on http://www.winsunx.com/list.php?mod=724 i just want to know if the gba function really is removed because i was thinking of getting this as my gba flashcart while using my supercard for nds and homebrew

Well don't get this. Spring for the old M3 or another card.l

yes. listen to 754boy.  Any M3 that is release with the name "professional" will have no GBA function.  It will be a DS-only cart.  There may even be a G6 professional coming out.  Winsunx had it listed for a while, then M3/G6 said there was no such product, and winsunx pulled it offline.  My guess is that there will be such a product, and winsunx just jumped the gun in listing it before it was finalized.

If you're just gonna use GBA, EZ4 is a great choice, it lacks real-time save and such but it's also cheaper. The only bad parrt of EZ4 to me is the low compatibilty for DS Homebrew.

i dont mind it have low to no compatibility with ds homebrew, i want it mainly for gba with something like an auto save instead of the gba saving button combo like on supercard for a reasonable cheap to affordable price anywhere  between $10 (i doubt it) - $60

sneef

well, if that's your price range, and you don't mind buying (or already own) removable media, then I agree with mrEkli... EZ4 is great.  I have EZ3 too (1 and 2 Gb) and it is EXCELLENT for GBA, but ez4 is cheaper and more versatile.. too bad about the RTS.

well im getting a supercard minisd to replace my SCSD so im going to be getting some mini sds anyways, but what i would like to know is how does ez flash 4 handle the gba saves? does it save automatically? or do you have to do a button combo to save like you do with supercard (normal save not rts)

Edit: is this the one i would want to get?

Saves it in the battery and upon next entrance to the menu, it auto saves it to the miniSD.
