I just got my G6 Lite, and i noticed something:

I knew the DS menu showed icons of the games, but I assumed they were somehow bundled into the patching software by g6/m3.

However, I wrote a very recent game (most recent) which was released after the release date of my patcher and loader, and, as expected, the name of the game is not shown, only the filename.  

What is unexpected is that the icon for the game is there, and it is the correct icon.  So what this means is that the G6 loader is getting the icon from the game itself.  It must be the same icon that the DS displays in the DS firmware menu when the original game card is inserted.  

If this is true, that means that all flashcarts, including supercard, should (in theory) be able to make use of these same icons, and have a nice graphical menu.

You're right about the icons.  The SC menu could stand some improvement.

maybe someone could make some homebrew that could replace the supercard menu

Anyone can tell me what is the price of G6 lite in singapore? Or do I have to order it from somewhere? Please provide info~ I just got my wonderful NDS Lite last week.

You probably have to order it from somewhere on the net.

Jeez, if Supercard's menu was like the G6 Lite's menu, that'd be awesome.  Those Icons are so sweet looking, and better yet, use touchscreen too.
