works like a charm :)

What you need :

FFDShow ( Video decoder )

Video Downloader ( YouTube, Google, whatever )  IMPORTANT YOU NEED FIREFOX

Firefox

DPG-Tools

If it everything downloaded and installed goes on start > programs > FFDShow > video decoder. Afterwards you press above on codecs and scroll right now down and stop by FLV1. There you place now over of "disable" on "libavcodec". Store afterwards the changes and the program terminate. Here a picture :

Now you can go to YouTube and select a video. In my example I take Numb of Linkin park http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZlHOlTXhLs go directly on the side on that the video run.  If you`re there , it must in your FireFox ( if you everything correct install ) this indication be:

Push it and a new window will open

Now download the .flv file and save it whereever you want.

After this you need the DPG-Encoder. Push "select" and change Type of file to "all files". Just search your .flv file and push "start".

That was it. Enjoy it and I hope this tutorial is useful for some.

try batchdpg

Al-Dorado

I have a problem with converting the *.flv files to dpg's. I use BatchDPG, but when i try to convert one of those flv files, the tool makes a dpg file, with the size of 1kb. Does anybody know what to do?

Yeah this worked great. only youtube vids aren't the best quality. Picture wise i think they are fine on the ds only video/audio synch gets way out. I just had k-lite codec pack so that comes with ffdshow and yeah firefox with video downloader and the new dpg enc.
