noob alert!!

i have downloaded some old monty python clips somebody else encoded on gbatmw.net.
But they dont work using the supercard gbamp application, but what I encode into .gbm .gbs files work fine.
Am I right in thinking, these files will work with a bona fide gbamp hardware, but not via supercard!

I have a ds and moonshell anyways but there seems to be more content available for the gbamp.
