Hey, I had heard rumors that people are modding the 360, something with the DVD drive.  I was just wondering if anyone here has done it yet or if anyone knew of some good places to get information on it?  Can you just rip games (ones that I already own of course) to the HDD and play em off of there?  

Any info would me much appreciated.  I am planning on getting one when the PS3 comes out and microsoft slashes the 360 price to combat that.

www.xbox-scene.com has all the info, its not a simple mod, and if you havent modded a console before, this is a medium, versus my PS2 which required 27 micro wires (it was hard). The forums have all the info, and the mod is based on the current 360, i seriously doubt in 4 months that MS wont have this taken care of already and you will have missed the boat; but thats my opinion.

Also don't expect M$ to drop the price of the 360 due to the PS3 launch (M$ already said they weren't going to) cause the 360 will already be 50% cheaper then the PS3,lol.
