Hi, I bought the external USB writer to write files onto my Flash2Advance cartridge but whenever I try to add a rom, it comes up with a message saying "turn on gba and press select+start". Well , I am using an external writer so I obviously cannot press these buttons. If I let the timer go down it doesn't work or if I press cancel it doesn't work.

How can I get around this? Surely there must be a way or this product would be useless.

Thanks.

Never mind. I found that I should be using the F2AUSBWriter instead. I still have a problem though, I cannot erase any files off of the card for some reason.

With F2A you have to write new files to the card and it will remove the GBA files you select for deleting at the same time. The only way I was able to erase the card is with writing a file the size of the card and the utility with keys on GBA. The card has the key combo on it can't remember. How did you get the writer to work, I don't have my GBA SP anymore and don't have a way to change the files. When I use the USB writer it will not work with the software that came with the unit, what software are you using?
