when people like fifthelement just keep on saying bad things about a product they dont have. Thats when.

Not only a product that he doesn't have, but a product he doesn't have made for a console he doesn't have. He doesn't even have a DS Lite. So why is he going arround spamming both this and other forums with complaints?

Not to mention the whole thing spouting off over and over that it will have slowdowns without a super high speed MicroSD card and that the video is a fake even before it was released. Well he was proven wrong on that one too.

He should be banned IMO. All he is doing is causing trouble here and elsewhere.

Wow, the SClite is really bringing out the uglyness in people.

I have always been under the impression (that when I heard romman was developing an SClite many months back), that it was just gonna be a "Lite" version of the current generation SC cards. A few tweaks here and there, but that was it. I do not know why some people thought romman was gonna part the friggin red sea with this new card.

Yes GBA support is not 100%, but it is also a slowely dying format. NDS is current and what most people are looking for in a backup device. NDS is new and will be for the next few years. GBA is on it's last year or so. You have to take the good with the bad. That's life!

Plus we are forgetting one thing, SClite is new. Probably has newer chipsets than the MiniSD version... which means there is most likely gonna be some improvement in the way he programs the patching software. Give the SC team some time... I am guessing that they might be able to tweak the software and see improvement. They have done it in the past and will do it in the future.

One last note... the price of the Supercard Lite is about $50.00. The price of a new NDS game is roughy $40.00. In the end, what is gonna give you the best bang for your buck? I would say the SClite. If I have played 2 or 3 games from beginning to end on the SClite... that is still better than buying a new NDS game. Money saved... end of story.

Supercard works wonderfully well for 90% of GBA roms. Can we PLEASE stop with the exaggerated "Supercard has HORRIBLE USELESS TERRIBLE GBA compatibility" statements? Those assertions are simply untrue.

There are a few games that have tolerable slowdown on Supercard and even fewer games that don't work at all on Supercard.

Socket... I probably would close this paticular thread as it currently serves no purpose other than to complain about the SClite. I honestly don't see what the big stink is and why people are complaining about it so much. It runs the same (if not better) than the MiniSD version... and I never saw people complain about that one.

I havent gotten my supercard Lite. Should get on monday i hope. Yes 50 and 70 is a huge difference for some including me. I was basing my opinion on other post. Now I may just get a m3 lite if it is better than the supercard lite. I love the supercard, i really do. its the reason why is hurts so much that some of my favorite games dont game good. The supercard lite is 49.99 for now at SCdev.org Official Sponsers Real Hot Stuff. Order it now before its too late.

So true! Sadly it'll take some a good few years to grow up.

well, i'm afraid to its the law of the internet, there are always some board 10 year olds who think its cool to cause problems, as opposed to talk about things that matter. and to be honest, i think i'd rather have increased DS supposrt as opposed to gettign that 10% of games you proberly wont ever play again, to work properly, for the extra cost it'd take. i'm proud i will be getting my ds lite soon, as it means i dont need to piss about with removing my supercard sd to fit the ds lite in the case i use.

But DS support is great on the Supercard. Only thing that hurts the SC is the GBA side.

Just because this is a SuperCard board I dont think people should be banned for having negative things to say about them.
fifthelement is voicing his opinions which shouldnt be any less valid than anyone elses.

There is nothing inherently wrong with what he's siad, poor gba support, the fact that the supercard site stills says the supercard supports gba, and lack of colured cases. He hasnt been particularly rude at individuals (that I've noticed anyway).

He wasnt even the one that started swearing, name calling or shouting, he didnt even start this thread!!

So I think he's entitled to his view and everyone is entitled to disagree with him and argue why he should get over it and why they are happy with their supercard lites.

One thing I would say though is that he's posted his opinion in a lot of places, when someone has a view that goes against the masses I guess they want to be heard. So why not keep this thread as it is as to why we dont feel like we've been ripped off.

Fifthelement, I understand what you are saying, but on a board for SuperCard users I dont think its going to be that easy to find people that share your view or convert them over to it either, no revolting of the people here I'm afraid!

I bought a SC CF soley for gba games just before the SD version came out and well before playing NDS games on SC was possible and I would like to say to the people complaining:

Shut up you whining little fucks, so the card you use to steal games doesnt play all the ones you want and thats annoying, but not annoying enough to buy the game and suport the people who made it you cheap fucks. Even tho romman has never said that gba games would be perfect or even improved you whine like he has conned everyone here out of their money and if you did buy the SC thinking gba would be 100% then you did absoluty no research witch makes you a stupid whining little fuck now go use the other ten or so alternatives to the SC and take your fucking drama queen act somewhere else.
