I havent gotten my Supercard Lite, but I kinda already feel like the no improve on the gba side of the supercard is a huge disapointment. I want to be able to play metroid and Mario with full speed.  I remember when the Supercard MiniSD was release, the battery was suppose to help speed things up but I didnt see it help.  M3 lite is coming around the corner, Im going to be even more disapointed if they announce perfect gba support.  I know it going to be more expense then the supercard but for perfect gba support, I think it would be worth it.

I have been saying this from the begining. When I say it they think I am bashing the SuperCard. I love my SuperCard miniSD but am disappointed with the Lite. No GBA fix, no other colors or DS Phat cart, no new interface or touch screen support. All the SuperCard Lite is, is a Lite version of the SuperCard SD/miniSD. The biggest feature of the SuperCard Lite is that it takes normal microSD 12X media and plays it like you had a SuperCard miniSD and a 150X media. Otherwise one is the same as the other only smaller. I just feel they could have made big improvements to the GBA ram if nothing else!

If you want more GBA support, I don't suggest you get any carts from this "generation", the NDS carts are not for GBA playing, they are just "bonuses".  Do what I did, have 1 older GBA specialized flash cart (EZ Flash 3) and get one NDS specialized cart.  The older GBA carts have perfect emulation of GBA, and NDS carts have perfect emulation of NDS games.  That is if you don't mind having 2 cartridges in your pocket.

problem is that i hate having anything sticking out.  Its the reason i sold my Supercard MiniSD.

Yeah, thats a stupid response, I know its not you but everyone gives it. I mean stop advertising GBA support if every game has slowdown and makes it had to play or annoying to play. Also if M3 and G6 can do it why can't SuperCard?

buy an old ds then :)

get a g6 lite

LMFAO, thats the solution. If ya can't fix it buy another product. No offense but if thats the way the world worked we would still be using wooden tools.

Look, just accept the fact that not too many people still care about GBA games anymore. As long as NDS support is near flawless them I'm perfectly satisfied. Besides, you knew the GBA support wasnt gonna be any better b4 u bought it lol ;)

no its just buy a different companies product or keep complaining, if you want the low price of the supercard to stay the same theyre not going to upgrade the ram anytime soon, and before you say i would pay extra for a cart that does both, then why havent you bought a different cart yet

"the NDS carts are not for GBA playing, they are just "bonuses". "

Well.....not according to the official site.
If you click on products you get an rather old description of SuperCards as being:
"1.Lowest price of the GBA backup system in the world."

They should probably update this as they seemed to have moved away from GBA to more NDS support.

To be fair to them they do say that for the SCL:
"4. Keep the GBA function like other version of SuperCard."
ie pants!

I can understand how people are frustrated about the poor GBA, it doenst bother me very much as I have a flashKart from the old days and dont really play GBA games anymore.

As for the following:
"No GBA fix, no other colors or DS Phat cart, no new interface or touch screen support. All the SuperCard Lite is, is a Lite version of the SuperCard SD/miniSD.  Otherwise one is the same as the other only smaller."

Yes, yes it is. But still a lot of work probably had to go into redesigning for the smaller format and then fixing for faster NDS access.
When given limited time (as other companies were also releasing Lite flash cards) its not suprising that NDS features take priority.
Lets not forget that SuperCard isnt a homebrew devlopement where you can take your time to add and tweak things as you like. It is a buisness to make money (hence the cheaper RAM) and their current solution is probably the one that is most profitable to them, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I dont think that if they stopped advertizing GBA support that people would suddenly forgive them (and if you think they will you obviuosly havent been to Hong Kong where pretty much all the wording on packaging should probably be ignored).

"If ya can't fix it buy another product"
In general yes, this is the way the world works. You go buy another product that works better for you and dont buy the ones that are "broken".

At the end of the day, if you feel conned and disappointed those are your feelings and as with all feelings and emotions are totally valid.

well, I didn't buy SC for GBA. I bought it for NDS. I have (well, had) 2 EFA carts that run GBA perfectly. Unfortunately one of them got dropped onto a hard floor from about 8 feet up a week ago and its caput, so now I have only one EFA cart. I'm starting to feel a little insecure about my GBA future .. I like redundancy when it comes to this kind of stuff. But as for SCmicro/lite, as far as what I've heard it does NDS even better than before, and still for only $50. I'll be buying one.

I bought miniSD and it's really a nice and well done product. SCLite isn't as good has I expected. So I'll stay this way, I don't mind it sticking out a little.

I also was disappointed in the GBA compatibility with SuperCard.
But GBA is old and now I buy games like Metroid or Riviera on second hand market.
There's no urge, so I can bargain and look for very low prices.

And honestly, playing GBA games is starting to be more retro-nostalgy-geeking than really playing to me...
I can't play MarioKart Super Circuit since MarioKart DS, it's too ugly.
