anyone have this problem before? i had my nintendo wifi dongle installed before but i had to uninstall it, then today when i tried to re install right before the end i got a internet connection sharing error and it wont install! it installed fine on my dads comp, but not on mine! i would appreciate any help that can be contributed

well it'll be hard to figure out the problem by what you said alone
first of all what is a significant difference between your dad's and your computer? maybe the internet? the firewall? antivirus?

you can also go to http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=7564 adn try the hacked software (please tell me that's not against the rules to post)

aroudn the fifth last post for good instructions

both have the firewalls disabled, we both have the same anti virus, and we both have our internet through the router, and i actually had that setup before, but i uninstalled it and i havent been able to re install it ever since

uzumakishade

well i was trying that to see if it would connect again but i get an error when i get to the internet connection sharing part

this message appears
an error occured while internet connection sharing was being enabled. the system cannot find the file specified

if anyone has had this similar problem or can help me fix this please tell me here or add me to msn

The page I gave you shows you exactly what you have to do and is specific for your case. If you don't want help, that's fine with me.

I had exactly the same problem you're having and it worked.

uzumakishade

well it didnt directly link me to the problem, sorry about getting upset it was because of the trouble i was having with this, not you. it just took me to the main site, thanks for your help anyways i got it working through other means

just to let you know, if you ever get a link like that (that takes you to a page asking for which country/region you live in), you can usually pick your country/region, and then just follow the original link again.  After picking your region, the correct cookie will already be stored in your computer, and the link will take you where you need to go.
