Do you have a link that explains the procedure? I have a WiFiMe compatible linksys card and would be willing to try this tonite when I get home.

One you have WiFiMe working and understand how to use WMB then running FlashMp is trivial.  FlashMP can be downloaded from DarkFader's website.

this seems to be an issue only with CB chips (im having same issue) hopefully this will be corected very soon.

I guess this is a pretty slow forum if you've never had some clown start a rumour just to piss people off.  It happens.  Don't act like it's such a crazy idea.  People have a lot of time on their hands and like to use it to irritate and cause problems.

I mean, really.  What have we got so far?  Two people, both brand-new registered, saying that their supercard is bricked by bad programming.  Meanwhile other longtime members say, "nope, works absolutely fine." ... and you think I'm being mean saying that it sounds like something funny's going on?

Heck, if I wanted to, I could easily proxy myself all around the globe, start 50 threads saying that running Starfox in multiplayer with Supercard bricks my DS.  Fear!  Hysteria!  Confusion!  It works on mine!  Why doesn't it work on yours?  Was there a bad shipment?  I got mine from realhotstuff.  OMG so did I holy crap I better not try it.  Tens or hundreds of lost sales for realhotstuff and a dent in Supercard's reputation that might be weeks or months before it's gone.  That's 30 minutes of work.

Now, I'm not saying that this guy here is lying or making stuff up or overreacting.  I'm just saying that to preclude the possibility out of hand just because you want to seem friendly is counterproductive.

OK, the SD version files are different.  These files are mirrored from supercard.cn as of 12:01am EST 08-04-06.

Upgraded using 1.63b with a Supercard that has a CB chip, everything went fine. I'm glad I looked at this site before upgrading earlier.

The first thing I would suggest is try to return or exchange your SC if possible.

As a last resort I suggest trying to restore your supercard firmware using WiFiMe and DF's FlashMP program.  WiFiMe allows homebrew to be run on a DS without a SC, using 'download and play'.  FlashMP is a homebrew program that can restore SC CF/SD firmware.

I have a WiFiMe setup so you can send your SC to me and I will try to restore your SC firmware to the latest version.  PM me if you are interested.

WifiMe only works with certain FW, and sending homebrew only works with FlashMe (sorry didn't read the whole thread if this has been mentioned alread).
Seeing as I have loads of kit I can just boot it rom a different GBA card, but where can I find this FlashMP (no I haven't updated yet, just want to be prepared )?
