Dear friends all,

i've ordered another Supercard SD form Cheapmod.net, for my little brother and his blue GBA-SP, now i would likt to know please:

Due to his will to play only to GBA games and so to use the SC only for GBA related roms and homebrews , what is the best firmware now available to set to be able to reach the higher GBA compatibility??

And how i can discover (which key press combination) the current one on sc?
I ask this because i'm afraid to upgrade to a not fully GBA compatible firmware when i 'll receive the sc...for example with the previous i was able to play with Hamtaro on my NDS , and now with 1.52 i can't not more load this game even if most gba games are said to have a better compatibility... please let me know----

There shouldn't be any major compatibility changes between the versions. Did you make sure to reconvert a clean version of hamtaro with the latest SC patcher software to see if that'd work?

yes i converted a clean 1075 Hamtaro , with the latest software (the converter ) and now it freezes after inserting the players name. But with visualboy emulator Ce version it does work fine, it is strange...

however thanks,

and how i can see the current firmware version?

Well, yeah. It's going to run differently on an emulator than on a Supercard.

Hold L+R as your GBA is booting or as your DS is booting into GBA mode.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

thanks, however its strange because with the previous firmware it was working welll..
i know the obvious difference between an emulator and the hardware..

changes i have noticed : with tht fw 1.51 my homebrew gba apps were not working now these are working well with fw152
